Teen Counseling
Our Therapeutic Approach
-
The "gold standard" for anxiety and depression. We help teens identify and shift negative thought loops into constructive actions.
-
Perfect for managing "big emotions." Teens learn four key skills: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.
-
This approach teaches teens to stop fighting difficult feelings and instead accept them while moving toward their core values.
-
Because a teen’s environment matters, we offer sessions that include parents or siblings to bridge communication gaps and heal home-life conflicts.
-
For teens who find traditional "talk therapy" difficult, we offer Art Therapy and Play Therapy to allow for expression through creativity and age appropriate play.
-
As teens approach adulthood, the pressure to "know what they want to be" can be overwhelming. We provide professional career assessments and guidance to help them align their natural strengths, interests, and personality with future educational and career paths. This proactive approach reduces academic anxiety and builds a clear roadmap for the future. Our team is also able to offer guidance for the complete University degree selection & application process.
-
Groups offer a powerful sense of community, proving to teens that they are never truly alone in their struggles.

Does your teen struggle with "disorganization" or starting tasks? Our Executive Functioning groups are designed for teens (including those with ADHD) to master time management, goal setting, and focus. We provide practical toolkits to help them turn "I can't" into "I have a plan.
